Currently I am a Senior Information Architect at Wellsfargo.com. My domain experience spans both interaction design, user interface engineering, design research, mental models, conceptual maps, task analysis and content strategy. As one of the architects servicing 6 million customers daily, the customer experience design and research division at Wellsfargo.com is responsible for vision setting, best practices, design methodologies, information architecture, and interaction engineering across all platforms and business divisions.

As the Lead User Interface Engineer while consulting at Scient for the project, "Purple Demon" aka "Hotwire", I delivered task flows, iterative prototyping, and usability improvements to ensure an extensible and friendly application.

As the Lead UI Engineer at Atinera, I worked to vigorously to simplify the this web-based travel reservation system that would specifically benefit small travel agencies that did not have the luxury of investing in a extensive and proprietary application suite.

As one of the early Customer Experience consultants at Scient, I had the great fortune of working with world class professionals in shaping the dot.com enterprise internet evolution.

We not only consulted our business with our clients, but more often than not, built the entire web application from it's business to operating business.

Client projects include: Benefitpoint.com, Boats.com and Certicom. I was also the Manager of the Usability lab used for internal research and prototype testing.

Purple Moon


Devised original storyboards, character design and interactive gameplay for interactive cd-rom games (girls, ages 8-12). Conceptual modeling of interaction design, puzzles, and social network paradigms for one of the first influential games specifically designed for girls. *(acquired by Mattel in 2000).

Direction by Brenda Laurel, the founder of Purple Moon, continues to influence the development decision-based narratives within story-based gaming.

I was the designer on Purple Moon's first sports title "Starfire Challenge" which engaged girls in interactive tutorials, branching narratives and puzzleplay.

Last year, I created a video to illustrate Katherine's lecture for the GDC 2005 (see top right panel).
